Our properties are ideally situated at a little more than 1,000 metres altitude facing southwards over the Tarentaise valley.
It is a beautiful, rural position called 'Le Versant du Soleil', which loosely translates as 'Facing the Sun'. Many 'old timers' reckon that there is a micro climate here which makes the area warmer in the winter [being south facing] and to have an almost Mediterranean climate during summer.
This is truly a year around setting, with loads to do during the summer, the winter and the shoulder seasons.
It is a remarkable climate and is normally very pleasant indeed.
